In 2007, Jaime moved to Hong Kong and left a successful career in the fashion industry behind her.  Graduating university in 2000 with a degree in Fashion Design and Fine Arts, Jaime honed her craft in courses and internships in the U.S., London and Paris.  Later designing and styling for a number of well known American brands in New York City, Jaime then took a position as a Creative Director and Trend Researcher.  Here she had the opportunity to go beyond clothing design and construction, working with different labels and helping them develop fabric, color and trend direction for their lines.
     Her affection for art and design wasn’t always confined to fashion.  Jaime has forever loved make-up and beauty, and considers make-up artistry to be a natural extension of her already successful career in design.  She studied with accomplished make-up artist Mai Lee and Beauty Base London, a BABTAC accredited academy specializing in fashion photographic make-up.  Now, Jaime is growing her make-up career under the moniker Smudge Make-up Artistry.  Jaime offers her extensive understanding of color concepts and design aesthetics to her clients, which has only made her a better make-up artist. She understands the face and about making a women look beautiful.  Her services include make-up application for fashion, editorial, events, stage, bridal, portrait, boudoir photography and styling.  Jaime lives in Happy Valley with her husband and two children.
